2022 Background Screening

Background Screening and abuse prevention and awareness training are required for all coaches

https://west-newbury-youth-league.sportngin.com/register/form/746006632

Please follow the link above to complete your background check in order to be cleared as a volunteer. You will be required to pay the fee of $25.50 for the background check ($5.00 of which is for online abuse prevention system training). WNYL will reimburse the background check/training fees upon request.

For more information on exclusion criteria please click here.

Thank you for volunteering!

Important Information

  • Background screening needs to be updated annually. The date range we use is a calendar year, January 1 to December 31.  If you have initiated a background screen within the current calendar year, the system will not let you initiate a second report. Each January 1, the link will reset for the current calendar year.
  • Please initiate your background screening and complete your abuse prevention training at least 2 weeks prior to when your volunteer activities begin so there is time for processing and finalizing within WNYL.
  • A passing background screening within the active calendar year, and successful completion of the Abuse Prevention System training, are prerequisites to volunteering within WNYL.
